SEMI Pacific Northwest is hosting a professional development seminar for students to gain insights into Oregon’s booming semiconductor industry, which is helping to enable breakthroughs in AI. This seminar is open to all majors, and registration closes on April 5.
Empowering OSU: Stories of Harnessing Generative AI for Impact in Staff and Faculty Work

This panel will share six OSU colleagues’ personal takes on how they are using generative AI in creative ways to support their work, to enhance efficiency and productivity, and to improve teaching and learning. Speakers will describe how they got started with AI, how they’re currently using it, how they’re sharing their AI approaches with colleagues, and potential avenues for expanded use. Audience participation in chat and Q&A encouraged.
This event is organized by Ecampus and the Center for Teaching and Learning, and is open to the OSU community.
AI Meetup for Industry and Alumni

Oregon State University's AI group is hosting an AI Meetup for industry and AI alumni in conjunction with the CIC groundbreaking and Global Futures Forum on AI on April 12.
The meetup includes a panel on "AI Today: The Overlooked and the Overhyped," a graduate student poster and demo session, and reception.
